Loch Brewery & Distillery – Single Malt Whisky #21, 50/50 Pale/Peat ex-Loch Bourbon Casks whisky is the product of two distillations & four barrels.

The first two barrels were distilled from Best Bitter (beer style), pale malt bill & aged in ex-Bourbon oak casks. The second two were distilled from heavy peat malt & aged in ex-Loch whisky casks. Each release is unique and each malt spirit is then aged in different cask finishes, ensuring each batch will be individual from the next. They pair perfectly with their matching ales. It is possibly a world-wide first that three distinctly different single malts have been made from the distinctly different ales from products made at the same premises.
