Victor Hingston Moy is the distiller’s late grandfather, best friend, idol and mentor. This lightly peated 5yo, uses a blend of voyager craft malt and peat-smoked malt and on-site spring water. Aromas of oak, smoke and toffee, flavours of young peaches, fresh strawberries, toffee sweetness and a hit of smoke on the finish. Aged in 100L port barrels stored in NSW’s Snowy Mountains and in the ACT, then to its final home in Newcastle. The movement and temperature variations give this barrel a unique mix of environments, giving that perfect level of ageing. 59% ABV.
